Are you looking for a chance to make a difference in your community?

Hope Mountain counselors have a few things in common. They have the best training, and a deep desire to use their awesome skills to help the under-served. They’re really into attunement, validation, and radical acceptance. They listen closely to each individual’s story.

Our Colorado neighbors are our central concern. We’re committed to strengthening the Colorado communities we know and love. We're gonna do it one heartfelt conversation at a time.

    Counselor

  • We are a growing group practice that provides individual counseling, case management, and shelter outreach. We have openings within our internship program for students within their Master's program of Counseling Psychology/Clinical Mental Health/or equivalent psychology program. We have a passion for providing help where there is none by offering accessible mental health services. Hope Mountain works hard to maintain a positive work environment and healthy team interactions. We believe therapists should have a work-life balance. This is accomplished by obtaining an appropriate client caseload and encouraging clinicians to work with their “best-fit” client. We focus on our clinicians’ needs, clients’ needs, and providing counseling that changes lives.

Our Internship program works to help you gain experience working with diverse populations in individual therapy, case management, note taking for Medicaid, homeless shelter outreach, work-life boundary keeping, while building professional development.

We offer free group supervision, individual supervision, and note taking office hours with our skilled and compassionate LPC-Supervisors. This is an independent contractor position where you set your hours and build your caseload. We are looking for interns passionate about providing accessible mental health care to underserved populations. Our interns will station at least once weekly at one of our partnering sites as well as have the opportunity to take on clients at our main office or virtually from various sources of referrals.
